All of us have seen a plane in the Texas skies.

Some may wonder where said plane is going, or perhaps what company's plane just flew over us. It could be carrying cargo or people for all we know if we can't see it well. Many in the state may even want to fly planes for a living at some point in their life.

As with all transportation, there are rules for pilots before they take off into the air. Following those regulations is very important too. But for those on the ground watching the planes, there's a lot you shouldn't do.

One of those things you ask? Shining a laser at the plane. Yet...some Texans decide to make this silly decision.

As revealed by KXAN, data from the Federal Aviation Administration has revealed, at the time of writing, 700 people have made the decision to illegally shine a laser at a plane. Also, they were able to find out where most of the incidents happened.

Per the data, the city most guilty of the crime in the Lone Star State is none other than Houston. The city has, at the money, 256 attacks from a laser. The city of Dallas ranked behind them, having one less laser attack at 255.

Other cities in Texas were placed on the list, which you can see on KXAN's website. The main lessons to be learned? Simply don't do this Texas!
