I would raise chickens at home, if I could

Well, If I had the room and proper set up, I might raise chickens.  The only reason I bring it up, is word has it, a group is trying to change an ordinance in Odessa. This city "law" prohibits you from raising chickens within the city limits.  I can see if it is a nuisance (roosters crowing at 5 AM, etc...).  I do disagree with the groups rationale that everyone should have the "country living experience".  I don't believe someone else should decide what experiences I should have.  What do you think?
