“Home Run” opens in Odessa this weekend

"Home Run" an inspirational movie about a troubled baseball players opens up this weekend at the Century Theater in Odessa.

"Freedom is Possible" is the the theme of the movie. When a professional baseball player gets into some trouble and is served a team suspension is forced to coach a youth baseball league and enter a recovery program. In the beginning it is punishment but the kids are able to help him find the joy of the game again.

It also features a local baseball fan/player. Sidney Mihecoby and his sons are featured as extras in the movie.
