Having A Hocus Pocus Party This Weekend, Here Are A Few Things You Might Need

Today is the long-awaited arrival of Hocus Pocus 2, which is the sequel to the original Hocus Pocus.  Bette Middler,  Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy return as the Sanderson sisters when someone else conjures them with the black flame candle for Halloween.

The original Hocus Pocus movie debuted in July 1993. That's when we met the Sanderson Sisters. The Sanderson Sisters were resurrected by a teenage boy on Halloween night, in Salem Massachusetts.

I know there are tons of women out there who are so excited to see the return of the Sanderson sisters, you are planning a girl's night with your friends, maybe a party, maybe an adult sleepover? Here are a few things you can include, that may get you more in the spirit of the movie.

Let's start with the entryway! Swing by a party store and grab a few witch's hats and hang them in your entryway for your guests to see as they walk through the door. You can also get a few old brooms and set them by the door. A witch must always have their transportation ready at a moment's notice.

What's a party without some witch's brew for your guests to enjoy? Make your favorite punch, you can add adult libations into it if you like, but make sure to either add some lights or some dry ice to make it smolder.  Don't forget to serve it in a cauldron.

While you are at the party store grab some small cauldrons to store your potion ingredients in. Of course, I am talking about a candy bar or snack bar. Be sure to label your ingredients with proper witch names.

And lastly hang spider webs on light fixtures and in corners, giving your home a spooky feel. And, oh yeah, don't forget to dim the lights.
