Hank Jr. Returns To Monday Night Football

According to Sports Illustrated Hank Williams Jr. is returning to sing the historic Monday Night Football anthem.

Monday Night Football parted ways with Bocephus in 2011 after controversial comments made towards then President Barack Obama.

In a statement released to USA Today, Stephanie Druley, ESPN’s senior vice president of events and studio production, said, “I think it’s a return to our past in that it’s such an iconic song associated with football,” “It was the original." The historic theme will return to MNF, September 11th when the Vikings take on Saints.
