Gwen And Gunner’s Pet Of The Week

Every Wednesday at 9:10 am, Gwen and Gunner feature a different pet that needs a new forever home here in the Basin from Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals. Sometimes it's a dog, sometimes it's a cat. They haven't had any guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, or snakes---yet. But you never know!

Meet Randall!

Randall is a dog that is often overlooked! He and his buddy Margaret are one of the first dogs you see as you enter the shelter. Their yard is right in front before you go into the office. It should be the prime spot, but sadly it isn’t. Once someone makes their way to the office and then back out the other way to see all the available dogs, they forgot about the cute dog in the front yard that was so hoping that maybe this person would look his way! Had they stopped at his yard, they would have seen a beautiful 4-year-old Lab mix that wants you to play fetch, tug, and really just give him the love he so desperately needs! Randall gets along great with other dogs and people! He can be excitable and jump, which is why we aren’t recommending him for small children. A house with a yard is a must for this energetic dog! In addition to toys, Randall also enjoys car rides! When you come to our shelter, give the handsome boy in the front another look, you will be really glad you did!

Come meet Randall during our visiting hours of 1-4:30 pm every day but Thursdays!
