Gunner Thinks He Knows Me

Gunner thinks he knows me, but does he? I think he is picking up on things very well. You know in life you hope the people closest to you really know you. I am not just talking about your spouse or you parents, I am talking about your friends and even co-workers. We all hope that they care enough to learn what you like and what you don't like.

I know this may come as a shock but I am not the toughest nut to crack, I don't let people in or get close to me very quickly and all of the sudden I am sharing a tiny room with a complete stranger that has been solely mine for 8 years.

I don't open up and share easily about me, the real me anyway. But Gunner has been patient and kind and understanding.  Of course, one of the first things he learned about me was that I don't like bacon. Just like everyone else he was shocked. He has learned that I love to travel, and to cook and host people in my home.

Another thing he learned was my obsession for "murder shows" as we call them. When I was out when I had to have my back surgery that is all I watched so that's all I talked about. Plus here in the studio I always tell him about the different crimes that I have watched shows about. Sometimes I think he thinks I am crazy for all the "murder shows" I watch.

So the other day he told me that he came across something that made him think of me. I knew it was probably a T-shirt because he asked me for my size of shirt and favorite color.  He came in the other morning with a package I opened it and it was this shirt. Murder Shows & Comfy Clothes. So I would have to say Gunner is getting to know me pretty well.
