I absolutely love camping. I have for as long as I can remember. I picked up plenty of practice not only in scouting but with our family camping trips growing up. I can tell you this with complete certainty. Camping sure isn't the way it used to be. Especially when you're glamping.

Glamping (or Glamorous Camping) is camping with accommodations and facilities far more luxurious than normal camping and it's taking the nation by storm. There are glamping resorts and retreat areas that are popping up all over.

It's no wonder there is a word like glamping. These are some nice, peaceful, and serene locations. Is it really camping at all? I mean I know you're technically staying overnight but my goodness. These camping sites are nicer than some apartment complexes.

Our family camping trips growing up were nothing like this. Glamping is something I can get behind. I mean, if you can camp in style or up in the tree tops, why not? Airbnb's are all the craze right now. Why not take things outside with glamping sites? Sign me up.

In fact, this gets me excited to take one more Texas road trip before the summer months come to a close. Now, the only decision I need to make is whether I'll be along the ground or up in a treehouse. I think I can get used to glamping.
