George Strait is the big-ticket headliner looking ahead to the 2018 Bayou Country Superfest next summer in New Orleans. The country legend will be joined by Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves and Midland for the event, which is set to take place on May 27 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Tickets for the festival go on sale Nov. 2 at 10AM CT via BayouCountrySuperfest.com and Ticketmaster.com. The festival moved from Baton Rouge to New Orleans this year and had an estimated 60,000 fans in attendance. Louisiana Seafood presents Bayou Saturday Night will host a free concert outside the Superdome at Champions Square on May 26, the day before Strait plays. The show will include performance by Randy Houser, Michael Ray and Runaway June.

Strait has several concert dates already scheduled for 2018. The icon recently revealed that he'll be continuing his Strait to Vegas concert series, playing two more shows over Big Game Weekend, February 2-3, 2018, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“We said from the beginning that we would listen to the fans and follow what they want,” Strait says. “Fan support is just as strong now as it was when we started; and we are responding to that interest by adding shows in 2018.”

Last month Strait performed in Texas as part of a hurricane relief benefit concert called Hand in Hand along with Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.
