Everyone loves tacos, right? They're delicious and if I were to have a last meal, it would probably be tacos al pastor.

El Paso takes great pride in having delicious tacos, and now, a local taco shop is offering a new selection of exotic tacos. What kind? Well feast your eyes on this:

The Taco Shop, located at 1920 N. Zaragoza and at 145 E Sunset Suite B-300 (inside the Substation), is at it again with their unusual, yet intriguing, exotic taco meat selection. This time, there will be ants at the table.

The Chicatana Ant is actually a delicacy- and, to me, it doesn't seem all that strange to have in a taco, unlike their previous exotic meats selection that included a zebra tarantula:

Also, larvae:

And, of course, rattlesnake:

I wasn't brave enough to try these tacos, but I have to admit that the way they prepared that rattlesnake looked delicious and I kind of regret being a chicken and not trying it! Just look at how good this rattlesnake taco looks!

The Chicatana Ants, which are a Oaxacan delicacy, will be their special this week and I have to admit, I kind of want to try them now- especially after watching this video that informs us that the Chicatana ants are hand picked, and Chicatanas only come out once or twice a year.

I'm sure that whatever way Taco Shop decides to prepare the Chicatana Ants for their tacos will no doubt be delicious.
