Texas could be the third state to not recognize Daylight Savings time. This would mean we would not spring forward. Not every state is eligible to opt out but Texas can.

As you know Arizona and Hawaii are states that do not recognize Daylight Savings time.  The Uniform Time Act states, that states can become exempt from the federal law if the entire state is in one time zone and passes the law or if the state has more than one, the entire state on one side of the timezone agrees.

This issue is currently being presented in the current session of the Texas legislature.

What do you think? Would you like to see the time stay the same? Do you like the time change?
