Well, fans of the Dallas Cowboys were left scratching their heads after the latest player ratings for the next edition of the Madden video game were released. The legendary video game gave Cowboys linebacker and sack specialist, Micah Parsons a bogus rating. Read on to see how low it was.

Madden 23 comes out on August 19th, which you can pre-order now. But ahead of the release, the game usually releases the ratings for each player from every team. Many NFL players like to keep up with their ratings with some getting upset when it is lower than they anticipated.

Add Micah Parsons to that list, and for good reason.

Parsons was given a rating of 88, which ranks 14th among all NFL linebackers. Yep, not even in the 90s. What kind of hogwash is that? The dude was an NFL defensive rookie player of the year, led the Cowboys with 13 sacks, and was a dominating force to be reckoned with.

Heck, I was so impressed with his rookie season, that I already ranked him as one of the best pass rushers in Dallas Cowboys history.

But, the future hall of fame (in my mind) had an epic comeback with a teaser that was released for Madden 23.

Obviously, he's not really moving those bleachers. Or is he? In any case, I think the low rating is completely unacceptable. They even rate fellow Cowboys defensive stud, DeMarcus Lawrence higher than Parsons. In the last 23 games, Lawrence had 9.5 sacks, 79 tackles, and 17 quarterback hits. Parsons did better than that in just his rookie season. I don't get it. I think the folks at Madden might be spiking their Gatorade or something. Apparently, I'm not the only one that thinks the rating was bogus.

Regardless of the totally bogus rating, you have to love Micah's response to it. My guess is that next year his rating will be 99. Let's go Cowboys!
