Ray Stevens was there before Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and more. He laid the groundwork for all these guys. When I was a kid I loved his songs. I thought he was the funniest thing ever. I cannot believe he turns 78 years young today.

As a kid, I remembering having his cassette tape with songs like the "Mississippi Squirrel Revival," "It's Me Again Margret," and the "Streak."
