Team Work Resulted in Capture

Several agencies are credited with assisting in Garcia's arrest, including the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which also included members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents.

Kevin Garcia's Criminal History

Garcia has a long history of breaking the law. According to The Texas Department of Public Safety, he was convicted of fraudulent use/possession of identifying information in 2016, and sentenced to five years of probation. His probation was later revoked, and he was sentenced to two years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison. In 2018, Garcia was convicted of unauthorized absence from a community correction facility, and he received a 180-day sentence.

The following year, Garcia was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and eventually bonded out of jail. He was arrested again in 2020 for unauthorized use of a vehicle and theft of property, and once again, bonded out of jail.

Garcia was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List on March 14, 2022.
