How many times have we heard a friend, family member or coworker say, 'there is NOTHING to do here!' Heck, I would be lying if I said I haven't said it a time or two. Sometimes we do feel that way but the reality is, we're just not looking hard enough or we're just not aware of exactly all this is going on. Here are 3 events going on throughout the summer months that you can have fun being a part of!

THINGS TO DO IN MIDLAND-ODESSA THIS SUMMER:

1.Summer Mummers-Four words. Get your popcorn ready! 'Mummers' is a tradition. It has been around for more than 70 years and takes place at the Yucca Theater in downtown Midland. Summer Mummers features a melodrama performance followed by the All-American Olio. Lots of popcorn will be thrown, so wear comfortable clothing and shoes and by the way, drinks are available for purchase as well. The show runs every Friday and Saturday night from June 3rd to September 3rd with each performance starting at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets visit their website.

2. Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center-Check the website regularly for concerts and events, Wagner Noel is our favorite place to check out some of the best artists and coolest performances. In the month of July alone, comedian Bill Engvall, FREE Cinema Under the Stars, The Masked Singer National Tour 2022, comedian Tracy Morgan and  singer Dwight Yoakum just to name a few will grace the Wagner Noel stage with their presence. 3. Farmer's Market-If you and your family love a good farmers market, I've got one for you! Get up early on a Saturday morning and enjoy shopping from some of West Texas farmers, bakers, artisans, and consumers at The Parks Legado Farmers Market.
