Area Closures And Delays

Here is a list of closures and delays for the Permian Basin:

Ector County ISD - Closed Wednesday.

- Midland ISD all the campuses will be closed Wednesday.

- Odessa College: Due to inclement weather and hazardous driving conditions, the Odessa College main campus will close at 5:30pm today, Tuesday, February 4, 2020, and will remain closed all day Wednesday, February 5, 2020. All evening classes and scheduled activities for Tuesday and Wednesday have been cancelled.

- The University of Texas Permian Basin will be closed tomorrow. All Tuesday evening classes are canceled as well.

- The TTUHSC Permian Basin campus will be closed Wednesday, February 5 due to winter weather. This applies to all faculty, staff, students, library, and clinics on the Permian Basin campus. Campus will reopen Thursday, February 6.

- Crane ISD will start school tomorrow at 10 a.m.

- Fort Stockton ISD will start school tomorrow at 10 a.m.

- Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD will have a delayed start of 10 a.m. Administrators, custodial staff and food service staff must report at 9 a.m.

Forsan ISD will be closed tomorrow. Will start at 10 a.m on Thursday.

- Grandfalls Royalty ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m.

- Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Buses will run at 9 a.m.

- Kermit ISD will have a delated start at 10 a.m. Buses will start their routes at 9 a.m. Teachers and staff are to report by 9:15 a.m. Students can be dropped off as early as 9:30 a.m.

- Glasscock County ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Buses will run all routes but there will be no morning athletic buses.

- McCamey ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m.

- Wink-Loving ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours later than usual.

- Iraan-Sheffield ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m.

- Rankin ISD will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Elementary students will need to be dropped off at 9:50 a.m. Buses will run two hours later than usual.

- Tuesday night's Odessa High v.s. Permian basketball games have been moved to earlier times. Varsity Girls will play at 4:30 p.m. while Varsity Boys will be played at 6 p.m. The games will be played at Permian High School.

- Sub-Varsity Games will be tentatively played on Thursday.

The City of Odessa will be closed on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Emergency services will be in operation. City offices will reopen on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

- All Midland County Offices will be closed tomorrow and plan to re-open on Thursday.

- Reeves County Offices will delay opening until 10:00 am.

- Midland County Libraries will close early at 6 p.m today and remained closed tomorrow.

- Medical Center Hospital -- Our outpatient services, including Physical Medicine and Radiology and our ProCare clinics will be closed for the day. Patients who have scheduled appointments with our outpatient services, as well as our clinics will be contacted to reschedule. Our Urgent Care clinics and retail clinics at Walmart are still scheduled to be open tomorrow. We will update you if that changes. As always, the Emergency Department in the hospital will remain open.

- Grace Kids Learning Center in Odessa will be closed tomorrow

- Aladdin's Castle Learning Center 1601 E 42ND ST Odessa Will Close Wednesday, February 5 for bad weather

- Midland Teen Court Office Inc. will be closed tomorrow due to weather.

- Midland Academy Charter School will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather.

- Hillcrest School in Midland closed Wednesday.

- Saint Luke Child Development Program-Midland will be closed tomorrow.

- Crestview Early Child Center in Midland will be closed tomorrow.

- Midland Children Rehab Center will be closed tomorrow.

- The Hillander School will be closed tomorrow.

- Region 18 ESC will be closed tomorrow. All events at the ESC have been canceled. They will re-open on Thursday if the weather permits.

- First Presbyterian Church in Midland will be closed tomorrow.

- Greyhound will be stopping their services at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Services will not return until the weather clears up.

- Compass Academy Charter School of Odessa will have a delayed start at 10 a.m.

- CROSSROADS School in Odessa will have a delayed start at 10 a.m.

- West Texas Urology both Midland and Odessa offices will be closed tomorrow due to weather
