Legendary country music group Alabama is bringing their Alabama 50th Anniversary  tour to Texas and I am so excited. Can you believe Alabama have been together since 1969. That is over 50 years, they have been making hits.  I personally don't remember anything before the 1980's. Alabama is making tour stops in Texas and I am so excited because they are coming to Fort Worth. Alabama will be playing the Dickies Arena on October 22nd. They will also be at WinStar Casino in Oklahoma November 1st.

Tickets are on sale today HERE!

I am so excited my friends and I are going. I love Alabama and Randy Owen, the lead singer, still sounds just as good today as he did when they started. In the 1980's Alabama racked up 27 number ones and seven multi platinum albums. Over the span of their career they have had 41 number one hits and sold over 75 million albums.  Also in the 80's Randy Owen teamed up with St Jude Children's Research  Hospital founder Danny Thomas to start Country Cares for St Jude. Randy Owen brought in country radio stations to raise money for St June Children's Research Hospital.

LoneStar 92 has been a St Jude partner for over 20 years and as long as I am here we will continue to be a St Jude Station. St Jude is where I met Randy Owen and I was so excited.  I was even more excited when I found he would be performing on the last night of the conference. Even though I have heard the same show more than 10 times, I could do it 100 more.

Alabama did an online show  the night before Thanksgiving and I watched ever bit of it. I am a huge Alabama fan. These artist now will never be able to live up to the legends of country music. Alabama was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2019.
