A Girl’s First Love-Her Daddy:Valentine’s Father-Daughter Dance In Odessa This Friday

Your first Father-Daughter dance is packed full of memories. Omigosh I think I was about 7 or 8 and I distinctly remember being so excited about it! I was in Girl Scouts and when they announced that we would be having a father-daughter dance I immediately went home that day, told my daddy about it and he said yes we will go! A girl's first love and first Valentine, her daddy. 

My mother quickly planned it all out, I got to pick out a new dress, shoes, I might have even gotten the full treatment at the salon if I remember correctly? Maybe a little blush and lipgloss was allowed that night, I was set. My daddy even bought me a wrist corsage. Wow, precious memories that I will always cherish.

Cut to me having my own daughter. Six years old, her own very first father-daughter dance with her daddy. I did exactly as my own momma did, arranged everything for my sweet girl to feel special. After all as I said before, these memories are meant to last a lifetime.
