Odessa Family Turns to TikTok After Beloved Dog Goes Missing
In Texas, we truly cherish our pets. They often become beloved, extended members of our families, providing companionship and comfort, whether we're facing tough times or simply enjoying lighter moments together.
A local Odessa family is asking for the community’s help after a beloved dog went missing on the city’s south side, and a heartfelt TikTok video is now spreading the word.

Southside Odessa Family Turns To TikTok To Locate Missing Pet
In the video, a local man explains that his grandmother’s dog, Zoe, disappeared on January 4 around 6:30 p.m.
According to him, Zoe has never been gone this long, which has raised serious concern for the family. The dog was last seen in the neighborhood behind La Tienda, across from Ector High School, near Clements Road.
It’s an area many South Odessa residents know well, and the family is hoping someone nearby may have seen her.
Zoe isn’t just any dog. She’s been with her owner for more than a decade and has special needs that make the situation especially urgent.
Zoe is deaf, blind in one eye, and struggles with severe anxiety. In the video, her owner’s grandson explains that if someone were to catch her, she might appear frantic, pace constantly, or seem unusually nervous.
The man emphasizes that this behavior isn’t aggression; it’s fear.
Because of her anxiety, the family believes Zoe would be difficult to coax into a home or safely contain, making it possible she’s still wandering nearby, scared and disoriented.
That uncertainty is what makes the situation so painful for Zoe’s owner, who has shared over ten years of companionship with her.
The video asks anyone who lives in the area or who may have seen Zoe to reach out immediately, either by messaging or leaving a comment.
