It's safe to say we've all been rude to someone in Texas.

Sometimes it happens randomly, while others look like they've been rude to many people on the day in question. It's never fun when somebody is rude to you, but there is the chance the person may not realize they're being rude.

First impressions are difficult to beat, especially when one is impolite to you. You might even say something mean back at the person in question. Overall, it isn't a fun situation for one to be in, or to witness.

But where are people the most rude in the Lone Star State? Data has revealed where the city is.

KXAN shared the data collected by Preply. First, the good news, no Texas cities appeared in the top ten rudest in the nation as a whole. But, the bad news is that Texas did land in the top 25.

The top city in Texas you ask? None other than Houston, Texas. The overall score for rudeness the city obtained was 8.04, sitting at 13th in the nation. Next on the rankings was Austin, Texas, placed at 16th with a 7.97 rudeness score.

Some of the rudest things that people reported you ask? Well there was a tie at the top of the rankings. Tied for first was lack of self-awareness and talking on speakerphone in a shared place.

So to say the least, we should all be a little nicer to each other in the Lone Star State!
