Unidentified Woman Discovered With An Unexpected Item In Car

According to KVUE, the discovery and seizure of the item happened in Presidio. An unknown woman, aged 43, originally stated that she was bringing a meal that was cooked into the state. However, that was not the case.

Officers during a second examination of the vehicle, noticed that luggage in the female's car appeared to have more weight then what would be considered normal. Due to the abnormality, the baggage was taken out of the vehicle for further examination.

What was in the bags you ask? None other than bologna. In fact, 700 pounds of it!

Large Amount Of Bologna, Among Other Things Found In Vehicle

KVUE reports that the exact amount of the food was 748 pounds which was divided into 40 rolls. But, that wasn't the only illegal items that were located in car. In fact, an additional 280 boxes of unacknowledged medicine.

Alprazolam, Clonazapam, Diazapam and Tramadol were the medications found. Not only that, $7,600 was found in the vehicle concealed as well. The money was taken by the patrol.

The woman received a $1,000 civil penalty for the smuggling attempt. In addition, the bologna itself was promptly eradicated. The morale of story you ask?

Don't attempt smuggle things into Texas!
