Sadly Jerry Jones will never actually give up his ownership in the Dallas Cowboys most likely. However, Homer Simpson will be taking control of the team for Monday Night Football in a few weeks.

Homer Simpson's Dream of Owning the Dallas Cowboys

Back in Season 8 of The Simpsons we learned that Homer Simpson wanted to own the Dallas Cowboys. Sadly, that dream never came to fruition, but he did get to own the Denver Broncos. Looks like for Monday Night Football on December 9th Homer Simpson will be taking control of the Dallas Cowboys for an alternate broadcast.

Simpsons Funday Football for Bengals/Cowboys

Disney is going all out for the Bengals and Cowboys in a few weeks. You will have the standard broadcast on ESPN, then the Manningcast on ESPN 2, then ANOTHER alternate broadcast on Disney+ and ESPN+ with The Simpsons. This broadcast will have Bart Simpson controlling the Cincinnati Bengals, while Homer gets to control the Dallas Cowboys. I think some Cowboys fans would settle for Homer Simpson taking control of the team at this point. At least you know post game beers would be mandatory and the press conferences would be amazing.

The Whole Simpsons Family Will be Taking Part in the Broadcast

Marge and Lisa Simpson are set to be sideline reporters in the game. I assume Marge will be on the Cowboys sideline and Lisa will be on the Bengals sideline. Maggie Simpson cannot talk, so she will be in charge of the sky cam. More Simpsons characters are set to appear throughout the broadcast so we will have to wait and see how it goes on December 9th.

Disney Plus Tried This Last Year with Toy Story

In case you were unaware, Disney+ tried this last year with Toy Story characters for the London game when it was Falcons/Jaguars. We will wait and see if this is a huge success or a massive failure.
