Before the game kicked off, some believed they witnessed a Dallas Cowboys running back taking a shot of vodka.

Keep Scrolling to Check Out the Video

The Dallas Cowboys sadly lost to the San Francisco 49ers 30-24 last night. A very funny moment happened before the game kicked off though. NBC was going through the Dallas Cowboys running back struggles and showed that the team was activating Dalvin Cook off the practice squad. The camera pans to Dalvin and many believe he was drinking vodka on the sidelines.

Dalvin Taking a Shot on the Sidelines

Mike Tirico didn't help the video when he says, "Dalvin is getting ready for this one, I guess." It clearly does look like one of those mini liquor bottles you would get on an airplane. However, this is just a simple misunderstanding. Dalvin was simply drinking pickle juice.

As you can see, this container is the exact same that Dalvin is drinking out of. Yellow top, clear bottle. The advertising of the brand was removed off the bottle because they're not a sponsor of the Cowboys. If you're not paying Jerry Jones, you ain't on that sideline getting free ads. Fun fact, try to get a can of Red Bull in AT&T Stadium. They will pour it into a cup for you at the bar and not give you the can since they do not sponsor the Cowboys.

Maybe the Cowboys Running Backs Do Need Liquor Though

Former NFL Running Back Marshawn Lynch said he used to do a shot and a half before games. If that gets the running game going for the Boys, I'm all for it. Should keep that in the locker room though.
