Valentine’s Day Takes A Thrilling Turn At Nightmare On 19th Street
For Nightmare On 19th Street, Valentine’s Day isn’t the start of the season — it’s the grand finale.
While Nightmare On 19th Street in Lubbock is constantly evolving, the biggest changes always come after Valentine’s, making this event a last, glorious chance to experience the current version of Nightmare before it transforms again.
That’s exactly why Valentine’s at Nightmare is different.
Valentine’s… But Make It Dark
The first way we make this event special is through exclusive Valentine’s production upgrades. Guests will find Valentine’s-only photo ops scattered throughout the park, a hauntingly romantic gothic soundtrack echoing across the midway, and characters you’ll only encounter on this specific weekend. These subtle but powerful touches shift the entire mood, turning the park into something darker, more intimate, and uniquely unsettling.
The Only “Touch Event” of 2026
The second — and biggest — difference is that Valentine’s is a touch event, something we reserve for very rare occasions. In fact, after reviewing the calendar, this will be the only time in all of 2026 that Nightmare On 19th Street will operate this way.
Think of a Love Bites or First Blood event as a one-sided game of tag. The ghouls are no longer just lurking — they’re actively trying to place a “Bitten” sticker on the back or shoulders of unsuspecting patrons as they move through the attractions. You don’t have to run… but let’s be honest, you probably will.
It’s chaotic, adrenaline-charged fun, especially once people realize just how hard it would be to survive in a world filled with blood-thirsty creatures. For the rare few who manage to escape untouched, we proudly hand out “I Survived” stickers — though it’s worth noting we’ve gone through tens of thousands of “Bitten” stickers and are still on our first roll of survivors.
All Four Attractions. One Wild Night.
All four attractions will be open for this event, making it a surprisingly perfect — and unforgettable — date night. Yes, it can be a little chilly, but that just sharpens the senses and kicks the adrenaline into overdrive.
