The Big 10 Will Play Football

The 2020 football season for the Big 10 was almost not happening. Initially the Big 10 announced it would postpone the 2020 season.

Breaking news this morning,  according to  Fox News

the Big 10 will play their 2020 season. The season will begin October 23rd.

In a statement from the Big 10 Commissioner said the following:

“Our focus with the Task Force over the last six weeks was to ensure the health and safety of our student-athletes,” 

“Our goal has always been to return to competition so all student-athletes can realize their dream of competing in the sports they love. We are incredibly grateful for the collaborative work that our Return to Competition Task Force have accomplished to ensure the health, safety and wellness of student-athletes, coaches and administrators.”
