Midland-Odessa in for Bad Weather Tonight and Tomorrow

Allow yourself PLENTY of travel time over the next 24 hours as West Texas gets a dose of cold temperatures and freezing drizzle starting this afternoon and going thru Tuesday afternoon. There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 7pm tonight until 7am Wednesday. Predictions for snowfall and amounts vary but it looks like we could see an inch or so in the Midland-Odessa area, and schools will likely cancel for tomorrow. Be sure to listen to Gwen and Gunner for all the latest on cancellations and closings. Set the alarm for 30 minutes earlier than usual, and leave the house in plenty of time to travel safely to work by taking your time and allowing plenty of distance between you and other drivers on the roads.
