George Strait Just Announced One Texas Show This Year

As we all know the King of Country Music plays a limited amount of shows each year. Before you could catch him in Vegas but he ended his residency at T-Mobile in 2022. He has previously announced several shows across the United States for 2024 and this morning one more show was announced! George Strait will be playing Kyle Field on June 15th. Codigo 1530 presents George Strait at Kyle Field.

As of now this will be his one and only Texas show for 2024. On the bill with him will be fellow Texans, Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman.

Not only is this historic because George Strait is playing at Kyle Field but this will be the first-ever concert held at Kyle Field. Kyle Field is home to the Texas A&M Aggie football team. The capacity of Kyle Field is 100,000 so there will be a lot of fans in the house.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, March 28th. At this time we have no information about how much tickets will be.

George Strait is known as the King of Country Music. He has more number-one hits than any other artist in any genre.

In 2013 George Strait announced that he would be giving up touring full time and kicked off the Cowboy Rides Away tour. He ended that tour with one of the biggest shows of his career at AT&T Stadium with over 100,000 people in attendance. It was the biggest show ever attended at AT&T Stadium. He was joined that night by a line up of country artists and probably one of the best shows I have ever been to.
